Making a compliment or complaint
Defence Health values your feedback on our products and services. It assists us to monitor our policies, procedures and systems to ensure we are meeting your needs.
As part of our commitment, we have implemented an issues and complaints handling system based on Australian and International Standards to deal with your concerns and suggestions in a timely, efficient and consistent manner.
If we are unable to satisfy your concern, you can contact the Commonwealth Ombudsman. The Ombudsman provides free information and assistance to resolve disputes call 1300 362 072 or at ombudsman.gov.au and privatehealth.gov.au.
If either Defence Health or the underwriter are unable to satisfy your life or general insurance concern, you can contact the Financial Ombudsman Service. Call 1300 780 808 (local call fee applies).
